What is the name for gutters that are set about 12″ on the roof rather than hanging from the fascia?

My roof doesn’t have gutters attached to the fascia board under the drip edge of the roof, Instead they are an upright piece of metal set back about 12" from the roof edge. i am trying to research the best way to repair them but don’t know what they are called !
Actually they run the entire length of the roof and there are a couple of collectors along the length that come do to downspouts. It is the collector box that has rusted out and I was looking at trying to replace those

They are called rain diverters and they are placed above doorways so that when it rains the water will not drip off the roof onto people going through the doors but is diverted to either side of the door. They are fairly cheap and I can’t imagine trying to "repair" one of them. They just slide up under the shingles and should be slightly angled to direct the water in the direction you want it to go.
Here in southern California they come in 8 ft. sections and are installed only above doors if you don’t have gutters.
