Another common stain is red wine. Red wine stains can be removed from fabrics in exactly the same way as ink stains. Or, you can give this a go: Soak stain in water and make a pouch in the cloth where stain is located. Again pour some cream of tartar into the pouch and then tie the ends together, leaving the garment to soak. Lastly, dip it in hot water and wash as usual. The hot water has some added removal effect especially on stain removal.
