Your home suffers a lot of rain pressure when it is wet outside. The exterior of your home protects your interior from suffering from rain damage. Cast iron is perhaps the best type of guttering to opt for, mainly because cast iron gutters are so durable.

If you have gutters that are pitched away from the wall with even a slight gap is the equivalent of having no gutter whatsoever and you will face problems. In addition to this, gutters which cause rainwater to gather in one main area could spell bad news too, as this means the water is more likely to run down one particular wall.

Water pressure should never be underestimated and without a proper filtering system it can cause serious brickwork damage to your home. With cast iron gutters though, you will find that they require very little maintenance and a professional will fit them properly.
