The famous Tiffany Lamps were created by Louis Comfort Tiffany who was an American. These lamps are famous for their vibrant colours, bejewelled and dragonfly designs. This spray was absorbed by the molten glass and gave layers of reflecting colours when it was cooled to room temperature. The variety of colours that could be made by this technique was amazing. By changing the metal in use the colours was infused in the glass. The copper vapour spray resulted in greenish blue to a rich ruby red and the cobalt vapour produced a spectrum of blue shades and if mixed with manganese it produced black colour. The mix and colour variation was even done by changing furnace heat and conditions.
