Using wicker outdoors may be one of the smartest choices you have ever made, wicker is not just popular for its durability – it has been known to be able to withstand harsh weather conditions – it is also economical in the long run. Wicker patio furniture seldom requires more than the occasional wipe down of dust which can easily be done just before an important occasion and look good for years on end.
Rain, wind, snow, and even sunlight can do a lot of damage over time to even the best quality resin wicker patio furniture. Oxygen and water are necessary building blocks of life because they are extremely reactive, which is good for people, but bad for furniture. On top of that, wind, snow, and rain can all do a good amount of physical punishment to that same furniture.

Shore and eucalyptus are very attractive, less-expensive options, but they can be a bit less durable Wood. Clean with a mild detergent and scrub brush at least once a year. Store indoors over winter if possible.
