One day I had dinner with some friends and suddenly something popped out from our minds – the coming Friday is our best friend Jamie’s birthday! We should give her a surprise. What gift should we present to her?

Our beloved Jamie has left Hong Kong last year and is now studying for her business degree in Amsterdam. Unless we spend all our savings to buy a ticket to Amsterdam, we cannot make her a nice and memorable birthday party as gift. Shopping has shrinked my pocket already.

What should we give Jamie as gifts to make her feel that we miss her so much and that we hope we are with her? What would make her feel moved? Although we cannot hold parties for her, we are always with her! What gift can present her such message?

But she is in Amsterdam now and if we post a large gift to her it would be very costly, and it cannot reach her on time too. And also, Jamie’s daddy and mummy are rich enough to provide her whatever she wants.

We spent a very long period of time thinking of what we should give Jamie as gifts. This brought me a headache. What does Jamie want most? What would remind Jamie of us and our love? And the gift must not be very expensive or bulky to post.

An idea jumped out from my brain out of a sudden. One day I was glancing through my friend’s facebook, I saw some very romantic stuff. My friend draws e-cards to his girlfriend every day to present her his love, and his girlfriend draws back to him too!

What if each of us designs our own e-card and send them together to beloved Jamie? She must be deeply touched and feel very moved! The gifts will be tailor-made as we can write and draw whatever we want Jamie to know on the cards!

These gifts must be the most memorable gifts Jamie has ever received! The e-cards can help to express our love to Jamie and let her know how much we miss her and love her. Jamie, remember to draw e-cards back to us! We miss you!
