Various Methods Of Carpet Cleaning

Carpet cleaning can be a chore, but there are some methods that are easier than others. Along with the variety of methods comes a variety of machines too. Many machines don’t have to be purchased, renting one for an hour or so is also an option. The information included in this article should be helpful in choosing which method is best for you.

Foam Method – A special machine needs to be rented or purchased for this type of cleaning. It looks similar to a buffer, with the brushes working small amounts of foam into the carpet. After the foam dries, it can be sucked up with a vacuum cleaner. The drying generally takes around two hours.

Shampooing Method – Shampooing carpets was the first method used when people began to clean carpets. The foam method and this one are very similar. The machine is almost the same, but this one has hosed attached to suck the water through. There is a container attached to the shampooer that has a tank for water and one for shampoo solution.

These are both mixed as they come out of the wand. The carpet is squirted with solution, the bristles on the wand work it into the carpet, then it is sucked back out. Once the water going from the carpet to the reservoir begins to become clear, that area of the carpet is clean. It will take many times to get high traffic areas clean.

Bonnet Cleaning – This method includes placing what looks like a bonnet over the base of a buffer-like machine. The bonnet is soaked in a cleaning solution before it goes over the buffer. As the bonnet goes over the carpet, dirt is picked up. Eventually, the bonnet will need to be rinsed out and re-dipped before placing it back onto the machine. Drying time is about 30 minutes for this bonnet process.

Powder Formula – Professional carpet cleaners have been known to use this formula, due to the lack of drying time. This quick process only has a 15 minute waiting period after the powder is added to the carpet. Once the wait is over, the powder is ground into the carpet, and then sucked up with a vacuum cleaner.

Steam Method – There are professionals who use this method too, for a deep cleaning effect. Hot water is generally used, instead of steam, even though this method is known as steam cleaning. Water is first sprayed onto the carpet with a wand, then sucked up with the same wand.

A wand is used to extract the dirty water out of the carpet. Many wands are attached to clear hoses, so the water coming off the carpet can be seen. Once the water comes out of the carpet clear, that area is clean. Due to the strong suction of today’s steam cleaners, the drying time for this process is extremely short.

Vacuuming before beginning the whole bonnet, dry, foam, or other carpet cleaning process is an excellent idea. It is also easier to remove all furniture before starting this venture, whether doing it on one’s own or hiring a professional.

Another Spoiled Football Player

Who didn’t predict this a mile away? I was certain that the moment your colleague and fellow whiner, Jay Cutler, was dealt you were going to throw a tantrum like a spoiled young baby who couldn’t have ice cream. You need to mature!

Brandon, you possess all the skill in the world and you’re wasting it! How many idle Americans (myself included) would die for the millions of dollars you make undeservedly.

We put in the 51 hours weekly at our occupations to get by and our employers conclude they need to fire us to make their goals. We’re left with a box and given a small severance package then we are laid off.

You’ve been incarcerated over 3 times (I have lost track). You’ve been suspended by your team. You never read your playbook. You don’t like your new coach and QB.

You walked through preseason as your fellow Broncos ran. You kicked a ball to another place from a ball boy and knocked down to a different place a pass to him.

These are not acceptable traits for a 25 year old guy who is seen as a mentor the youth (parents should be mentors, not athletes in my belief). You are a mockery and a stain to pro football. To be a pro athlete shouldn’t be taken at face value.

All the receiving yards, championships, pro bowl appearances, insane contracts don’t mean squat when you’re a shell of a guy. Take this period somewhere else from the franchise and do some soul searching. Realistically Brandon, not one person in the United States has a drop of respect for you.

You have a job that you get paid ridiculously well to do and you disregard your occupation and organization. Sorry guy, the pity train left a long time ago from Brandon Marshall station.
