Jacquie was identified at work as a very conservative individual who had an exceptional work record. She never went to any of the happy hours right after work and it was well-known throughout the company that she was a very religious person who many times talked about the risks regarding alcohol abuse and addiction to alcohol in our country.

Jacquie thanked the Human Resources manager for his caring and motivating words and then took the elevator to the organization's employee's assistance program to discuss her DWI arrest, her involvement in abusive and excessive drinking drinking over the weekend, and her aspiration to retain a "drunk driving" lawyer to represent her "driving while intoxicated" case. After hearing Jacquie's narration, the counselor that was part of the company employee's assistance program explained Jacquie's immediate "plan of action" that she needed to address and follow.
