The Paladin (or Pally as many prefer to call them) is one of the most popular character classes in World of Warcraft. This is for quite a lot of reasons, but one of them is that being a Paladin allows you to have the best of all worlds. You have spells/healing, physical power, great solo and great in a group. This class also has the added benefit of being less difficult to solo than many other classes.

The Paladin is not considered to be squishy (ie, easy to kill) like other magic users. This is due to their ability to wear leather body armor, their strength, and their ability to make use of weapons like the mace, that squishies often cannot use.

Paladins have a lot of unique abilities, such as blessings, seals and auras. They may use blessings on other characters in a group or instance to help them all out. Because of the Paladin's various skills and abilities, they make a great choice for someone who is uncertain about what type of character they want to play.

If you are new to WOW, a Paladin is a great option, They are easy to solo with and you will be able to experience everything with one. You won't end up in the graveyard too often with this one!
